Phuket Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course in Kathu, built over a reclaimed tin mine and recognised as one of the first golf courses established in Phuket. Measuring around 6,484 yards from the championship tees, the layout meanders through a valley of rolling hills, mature trees, and limestone cliffs, split roughly evenly between undulating hills, level ground, and landscaped forest. Large, forgiving fairways make it especially popular with high handicappers, while a large lake dominating the back nine adds a genuine test for the more accomplished player. The signature hole is the drivable par-5 10th, a dog-leg right that snakes around an enormous lake — reachable in one for those bold (or accurate) enough to carry 240 yards over water — making it one of the ultimate risk-and-reward holes in Phuket golf.
