Mission Hills Phuket Golf Resort
Play along the edge of paradise at Mission Hills Phuket Golf Resort, the only championship venue on the island offering direct oceanfront fairways. Masterfully designed by golfing legend Jack Nicklaus, this striking 18-hole, par-72 layout places ocean breezes and panoramic coastal views directly into play. Located just ten minutes from Phuket International Airport, it stands out as an incredibly convenient destination for travelers seeking an scenic oceanfront Phuket golf holiday
Oceanfront Design & Jack Nicklaus Strategy
Opened in 2004 and fully re-seeded in 2011, this 6,806-yard layout perfectly captures the signature design style of Jack Nicklaus. The course contrasts vibrant Bermuda grass fairways and immaculate white sand bunkers against the brilliant blue of the Andaman Sea.
Water comes into play on seven distinct holes, including a highly unique, double-green setup on the par-5 2nd hole that challenges players with an intimidating island landing zone right out of the gate.
The Signature View: The 4th Hole
-
Coastal Precision: The signature test arrives early at the breathtaking par-3 4th hole.
-
The Strategy: Measuring 157 yards from the white tees, this highly photogenic hole uses the crashing waves of the Andaman Sea as its immediate backdrop. It demands a highly controlled, accurate iron shot, especially when the coastal sea breezes begin to swirl.
